What is this?
The Local Voices Shaping our Future project was funded by the Department of Sustainability and Environment (DSE) in partnership with Alpine Shire Council and the Rural City of Wangaratta. The first of its kind in North-East Victoria, this innovative project was designed to bring together randomly selected, representative groups of everyday citizens to be included in deliberations about climate change that directly contribute to decision making at the local level.
